Know to Grow: the Boyhood of Jesus – Luke 2:41-52

After the birth of Jesus, and the visit of the wise men when he was a young child, we know very little about Jesus’ growing up years, until He was around 30 years of age.  But there is one glimpse into His boyhood.  In this chapter we will see three things that shaped the growth of Jesus, allowing Him to grow in favor with God and man.  There are specific applications to children in this passage, and they are encouraged to listen along!  Children don’t need to wait until they are older to get serious about their relationship with God.  They need to be focusing on ways they can grow spiritually now.  They should follow the pattern of Jesus as a boy…
